American singer Selena Gomez is missing her husband, Benny Blanco, after being reportedly spotted at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rehearsal dinner on Thursday. Several major outlets have reported that the couple is expected to hold their wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday.
On Thursday, Gomez posted a romantic photo with Blanco. It was a photo from the past, as Gomez said that she was missing her husband.
“I wish Benny was here rn.”
Right after this post, Gomez shared a short video, applying makeup while sitting in the backseat of a car. Many suspect that the video was shot when she was en route to the rumored wedding’s festivities. However, Blanco was not there.
Gomez was reportedly spotted at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rehearsal dinner after wrapping production on “Only Murders in the Building.” She was in a black gown while seemingly on her way to the celebration.
As far as the rumored wedding goes, several guests have reportedly started arriving at Madison Square Garden on Thursday. This includes Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Abigail Anderson, Erin Andrews, Charissa Thompson, Greg Olsen and Aric Jones.
Selena Gomez Could Be Taylor Swift’s Bridesmaid: Report
According to Page Six, Selena Gomez could have landed a special role at Taylor Swift’s wedding. She could be Swift’s bridesmaid at MSG, where the wedding of the pop singer is expected to take place on Friday afternoon.
However, it’s important to note that neither Swift, Kelce nor Gomez has confirmed the reports from sources.
Swift and Gomez go a long way back. They became friends in 2008, and both were dating the Jonas Brothers at the time. In an interview from 2017, Gomez spoke about the start of their friendship:
“It was amazing, because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked… It was the best thing we got out of those relationships.”
Swift has also acknowledged the special bond she shares with fellow singer. Therefore, it makes sense that she could have asked Gomez to be her bridesmaid.
Last year, when Gomez married Benny Blanco, Swift was right by her side.
