“1000% Confirms It Was P**n”: Mike Kafka’s Refusal To Comment On Mysterious Abdul Carter Benching Leaves Fans In Split

When New York Giants linebacker Abdul Carter got benched again during that MNF showdown against the New England Patriots, it raised many eyebrows. During the postgame, head coach Mike Kafka revealed that it was his decision to bench the rookie, though Carter did admit that this was because he made a mistake that was “detrimental to the team.”

Kafka did not mention any specifics about what Abdul Carter did, nor did Carter himself. This soon fueled a lot of speculations from fans, and it even has some people giving in some hilarious theories as to why Carter was benched. Meanwhile, others were just frustrated with the lack of clear answers after such a disappointing season.

“This 1000% confirms it was the p*rn,” one fan joked.

“Unless it was the p*rn 😳,” another X user added.

“Kafka looks like Nico Harrison,” another fan joked, referring to the fired Dallas Mavericks GM responsible for the Luka Doncic trade.

“Who on @Giants is advising their people what to say, @JordanRaanan and @BobbySkinner_ ? Kafka is now sounding like Daboll with these non-answers. These elusive, dodgy comments cause more problems than they solve. If Kafka starts saying, “I understand the question, but…” said one fan.

“So you just chose to not play one our best players and disrupters. Fire everyone because this is a sh*t show. Have some balls and just say what it was, it’s not like you’re gonna be here next year anyway,” noted one frustrated fan.

“This guy is allergic to simply telling the truth. He has absolutely no chance of sticking with the Giants, and now he’s really hurting his candidacy with other teams. This performance will be hard to overcome.” said another X user.

Reports Say Abdul Carter Has Had Multiple Infractions With The Team

Meanwhile, Abdul Carter himself has had several violations over the last few weeks. He was previously punished over an infraction and was benched during the game against the San Francisco 49ers. That infraction was him reportedly missing a walkthrough practice, with Carter stating that he missed it because of a scheduling mix-up and that he was getting some “extra treatment.”

In this latest benching, he reportedly had another infraction, and this led to Kafka benching him for the entire first quarter, only returning at the start of the second quarter, as their opponents were leading 17-7.
