George Kittle Issues Clear Warning to Belgium as USA Qualifies for FIFA World Cup Round of 16

George Kittle has sent out a clear warning to the Belgian national football team ahead of the United States’ round of 16 clash against the visitors at the FIFA Club World 2026. The comment comes on the back of a 2-0 victory for the USA against Bosnia and Herzegovina in San Francisco.

“@belgium we are coming for you,” is what Kittle wrote on his Instagram story, with the game coming soon after the American Independence Day on July 4.

George Kittle’s excitement for USA’s clash with Belgium comes amid a stunning run so far for the Americans at the FIFA World Cup. Despite losing one of their group games to Turkiye, two wins put them top of group D, and they followed up that success with a victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the round of 32 where they were clear winners.

However, a controversial sending off for Folarin Balogun means that he will miss the round of 16 clash against Belgium, which could very well be a significant blow to USA’s chances.

George Kittle Has Been Campaigning for Tight Ends

Away from the soccer, George Kittle has been busy talking about tight ends, and in his latest comments, has made it clear that they need to be paid more.

“There’s number three wide receivers who get 30 catches a year that are getting over $20 million,” Kittle said on the New Heights Podcast.

“I think the tight end who plays like 50 snaps a game and has one target a game, he probably deserves at least $50 million. That’s just my opinion, but we’re working on it.”
