Several onlookers have recently helped bring to light details on Washington Commanders owner Josh Harris being linked to one of the most infamous individuals in history, Jeffrey Epstein.
On Sunday, a thread on Reddit went viral, as it pointed out evidence of Harris having relations with American financier and child sex offender, Epstein, through different matters, including an alleged $2.4 million payment.
The Reddit thread backed these claims up through an article published on NEWSGIRLS in mid-February. The said payment was allegedly made by Harris to Epstein to send it over to an administrative assistant back in 2014. These are seen from emails shown in the Epstein files, but come without any other context. Harris is also said to have had several meetings and dinners with Epstein.
“Josh Harris, owns the 76ers and the Washington Commanders: new emails show Epstein facilitated a $2.4 million payment from Harris to an administrative assistant in 2014, but there’s no context in the emails about what it’s for… Harris also had many meetings and meals with Epstein,” the statement read on NEWSGIRLS.

Epstein died in mid-August 2019 after he committed suicide by hanging. Harris continues to be the owner of the Washington-based franchise. The 61-year-old acquired the Commanders in 2023.
In the recently concluded 2025 NFL campaign, coach Dan Quinn’s Washington team finished with an overall record of 5-12 and was the No. 3 overall seed in the NFC East. Unfortunately for Harris and the rest of the Commanders’ faithful, coach Quinn and company failed to make the NFL postseason.
The Said Reddit Thread Also Points Out Josh Harris’ Moves For The Philadelphia 76ers
Along with the Washington Commanders, Josh Harris also serves as a managing partner for the coach Nick Nurse’s Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. In the aforementioned thread on Reddit, however, Harris’ questionable moves for the franchise were detailed.
