O’Neal’s daughter, Taahira, is one of five people following the private Instagram page. After the discovery was made, Instagram news pages @everybodyhatekrissy and The Shade Room spoke on the subject.
@everybodyhatekrissy shared a video showing pictures of O’Neal and @kayyourstruly, even showing a picture of her having Shaq’s name tattooed on her body. The Shade Room shared a video of O’Neal playing with a child, who is allegedly his daughter.
While fans and social media pages continue to speculate, O’Neal has yet to break his silence on the subject, neither confirming nor denying the existence of his alleged daughter with @kayyourstruly. It is worth noting that both Shaq and his daughter Taahira are among @kayyourstruly’s 4,191 followers on Instagram.

O’Neal shared a message on social media amid speculation that he has an undisclosed child. On Tuesday, O’Neal reshared a post on his Instagram story.
“My Daughter, my daughter. The one I thank god for every single day,” the post read.
This is not the first time the name Shaqirah has been tied to O’Neal. In 2024, a post went viral on social media. The picture showed a woman, with a man standing behind her, towering over her.
The post prompted speculation online that the man was O’Neal. He addressed the speculation with a short video compilation of himself interacting with female fans and wrote:
“Is this my girlfriend too? Trust me, I’ll let y’all know who my woman is, and by the way, my woman’s name is Shaqirah.”
While the claim is going viral, rumors of O’Neal’s alleged child should be treated as such until the NBA legend directly confirms or denies the reports.
