Dwight Howard made headlines this past weekend when his wife Amy Luciani posted a video in which she made disturbing allegations. According to Luciani, child protective services (CPS) took Howard’s daughter from their home, precisely because of what Howard has been up to. Luciani claimed in the viral clip that Howard has a cocaine addiction.
While Dwight Howard’s global stardom has taken a hit because of this situation, Luciani is no stranger to the limelight, either. Even before Luciani got married to the former LA Lakers star last year, she’d already made quite a name for herself as a music and TV personality.
A Detroit native, Luciani (whose real name is Amber Rose) was part of an all-girl singing group called Entrance. Her three sisters were also part of this group, which opened for acts like Bow Wow and B2K.
Luciani later got involved in the world of reality TV, appearing in two seasons of the MTV series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Aside from her pursuits in entertainment, Luciani has engaged in other ventures such as starting an Atlanta-based charity for individuals with housing problems, along with authoring a children’s book entitled Good Touch, Bad Touch.
Based on a now-deleted social media post by Luciani, she and Dwight Howard got engaged in December 2024. A month later, they tied the knot. Their marriage, however, has taken a bizarre turn with the circumstances that have unfolded over the past few days.

For what it’s worth, Dwight Howard was in attendance at the Lakers-Knicks game at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday. The giant screen inside the arena even showed the former Lakers center.
As Howard was shown on the screen, he flashed his signature smile and waved to the fans in attendance.
