    When is NBA All-Star Weekend 2026? Complete Schedule, Time, Details and More

    The NBA All-Star is back in Los Angeles for a record seventh time. For the league’s 75th edition of the festivities, the Intuit Dome, home of the LA Clippers, will play host. This year, the NBA’s best rising, current and past stars and celebrities will converge in Inglewood, California, for the highly anticipated activities.

    The 2026 edition of the All-Star Game has some significant changes. For the first time, the league will introduce the “USA vs World” format. Two teams, made up of eight players each, will make up an All-American selection. The third team will have players from across the globe who earned an All-Star spot.

    2026 NBA-All Star Celebrity Game opens festivities

    On Friday, Feb. 13, the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, will host the All-Star Celebrity Game. Exclusive coverage by ESPN starts at 7 p.m. ET.

    2026 NBA All-Star Rising Stars take center stage after Celebrity Game

    After the celebrities open the festivities, the action will jump over to the Intuit Dome for the NBA All-Star Rising Stars showdown. Former NBA players-turned-analysts Carmelo Anthony, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter and Austin Rivers will coach their respective teams in the competition.

    Exclusively on Peacock, the event will start at 9 p.m. ET.

    After the championship game, action shifts back to the Kia Forum where Hampton University will take on North Carolina AT&T State University at 11 p.m. ET. Also on Peacock, the showdown continues the tradition of NBA highlight HBCU games on national TV.

    Best shooters and dunkers will highlight 2026 NBA All-Star on Saturday

    At 1.30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 14, the main attractions of the 2026 All-Star Game will be introduced at the Intuit Dome via NBA TV. A little over two hours later, league commissioner Adam Silver will hold his annual press conference.

    By 5 p.m. ET, the State Farm 3-Point Contest will start on NBC and Peacock. Devin Booker, Tyrese Maxey, Jamal Murray, Donovan Mitchell, Norman Powell, Bobby Portis and rookie Kon Knueppel will compete against each other. Damian Lillard, a two-time winner who hasn’t played this season, will also participate. Tyler Herro will not return to defend his title.

    The next event is a team-oriented competition called the Kia Shooting Stars contest. Four teams of three, made up of two NBA stars and an NBA legend, will battle for the top prize.

    After the shooting barrage, the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest will start at 5 p.m. ET. Carter Bryant, Jaxson Hayes, Keshad Johnson and Jase Richardson, all making their debuts in the contest, will vie for the crown.

    2026 NBA All-Star Game will be on Sunday, Feb. 15

    At 5 p.m. ET, the 2026 NBA-All-Star Game will tip off at the Intuit Dome and will be on NBC and Peacock.

    Alperen Sengun will play in his second straight All-Star Game after replacing the injured Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Adam Silver might have to replace Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) and Steph Curry (knee)  if both are not cleared to play in the NBA All-Star Game.
