The Toronto Raptors will take another shot at the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first-round series on Monday. Toronto got off to a good start but wilted two nights ago to go down 126-113 in Game 1. The Raptors look for a more consistent showing than their series opener to have a chance of pulling off an upset.
Meanwhile, the Cavs are riding the momentum of their Game 1 win heading into the rematch. Cleveland softened the Toronto defense with inside forays before the Cavs dominated from deep. The home team hopes the same strategy will lead to another victory.

Toronto Raptors vs Cleveland Cavaliers Injury Reports
Raptors Injury Report
Raptors star Immanuel Quickley, who sat out Game 1 due to a mild right hamstring strain, remains questionable. The point guard, who was a late scratch two nights ago, could give the Raptors a much-needed boost if he is cleared to play.
After practice on Sunday, Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic refused to give a definite timeline for Quickley’s return.
Cavaliers Injury Report
Thomas Bryant is also on the inactive list for the second straight game due to a left calf strain.

Toronto Raptors vs Cleveland Cavaliers Prediction
James Harden showed in Game 1 why the Cavaliers traded for him. Harden controlled the pace and tempo, helping the Cavs to a big win. When he was not scoring, the former MVP thrived in setting up his teammates, particularly when running his team’s pick-and-roll plays.
Game 2 could be no different unless Toronto’s perimeter defense drastically improves. Harden, Donovan Mitchell and Max Strus riddled the Raptors’ defense almost at will.
Toronto sorely lacked Immanuel Quickley’s playmaking and scoring. If he returns, the Raptors could cover the +8.5 spread. If he’s out, expect the Cavs to continue their dominance and win by another double-digit margin.
