Dejounte Murray’s girlfriend, Jania Meshell, shared pictures on social media, showing off a blue two-piece dress. Fans reacted to the image, complimenting Meshell and also took note of her caption.
Meshell wrote a message in the caption, which fans allege is a swipe at her ex-boyfriend, NBA YoungBoy’s alleged new girlfriend, Nique Brown. Here’s a look at Meshell’s caption on her latest Instagram post:

Speculation surrounding NBA YoungBoy and Nique Brown began on Wednesday after the influencer was spotted driving around in the artist’s car. A clip of the same was shared on X, where it quickly went viral.
Meshell shared pictures on Instagram a few hours after clips of Brown and her ex-boyfriend were shared online. Meshell was in a brief relationship with the rapper before dating Dejounte Murray.
The pair have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2020. They have a daughter, Icelynn Mercedes Murray, born in 2023.
Nique Brown also has a history with an NBA player, as she was previously in a relationship with NBA guard Dwayne Bacon. Reports indicate that Bacon and Brown separated in late 2025. He was in the NBA for four seasons, playing for the Charlotte Hornets and Orlando Magic.
A closer look at Dejounte Murray’s performance after returning from an Achilles tear
Dejounte Murray returned from a year-long stint on the sidelines against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. This marked his first NBA game since Jan. 31, 2024, which is when he tore his Achilles tendon against the Boston Celtics.
Murray has been solid since his return, averaging 15.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game, shooting 43.5%. He has yet to find his footing from long-range and is shooting 27.3% from there.
Murray has also been on a minutes restriction since his return, but that has not stopped him from positively impacting the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans have won two consecutive games since his return. They are 14th in the Western Conference with an 18-42 record.
Murray and Co. will return to the court on Monday to face the Utah Jazz as they look to build on their three-game winning streak.
