The Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors will meet on Tuesday for their second and final game of the season. In their previous meeting in Toronto on Dec. 28, the Raptors won 141-127 in overtime. Steph Curry had 39 points, while Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler combined for 40. However, Toronto went on a 19-5 run in overtime to hand Golden State a heartbreak on the road.
The Raptors received significant contributions across the board with Brandon Ingram scoring 26, Immanuel Quickley adding 27 and Scottie Barnes scoring 23 points. Four others scored in double-digits as Toronto protected its homecourt with a sensational effort in the clutch.
Ahead of Tuesday’s rematch, the Warriors are in a much better spot with their momentum, winning their last four consecutive games. However, they were dealt a massive blow on Monday after Jimmy Butler’s season ended with an ACL tear against the Miami Heat. Golden State is also playing on the second night of a back-to-back.
On the other hand, the Raptors are struggling with four losses in their last six games. Their injury situation is also not ideal as they are without RJ Barrett, Jakob Poeltl, Collin Murray-Boyles and Ja’Kobe Walter.
