Is NBA YoungBoy Dating Ex-NBA Player Dwayne Bacon’s Former Lover Nique Brown? Closer Look After Rapper’s Viral Car Ride

Former NBA guard Dwayne Bacon has been out of the league since 2021, but his name resurfaced on social media after a viral clip featuring rapper NBA YoungBoy made the rounds.

On Wednesday, user @SinceDayyOne shared a video of NBA YoungBoy riding in a car with influencer Nique Brown and appeared to connect the two, tweeting that Jania Meshell — who shares a child with the rapper — should confront Brown and even urging Dwayne Bacon to step in.

Hip-hop news outlet Daily Loud later reposted the clip on X, which has now over 1.1 million views, with the caption:

“NBA YOUNGBOY was seen with NBA player Dwayne Bacon’s girlfriend 👀”

However, reports indicate that Bacon and Brown have been separated since 2025. The two were said to have begun dating in 2021, which marked Bacon’s final season in the NBA.

Meanwhile, NBA YoungBoy announced in February 2026 that his wife, Jazlyn Mychelle, had welcomed their third child together.

In 2025, Brown stated in a social media video that she was single but clarified that she and Bacon remained on good terms despite their breakup.

“Me and Dwayne are not beefing,” Brown said in the video. “He has his own stuff going on. I have my own stuff going on, and we still do conversate and talk from time to time. … But, yeah, your girl’s a little single.”

The pair’s relationship drew public attention over the years, especially after Brown appeared on “Basketball Wives: Orlando” in 2021.

Where Does Dwayne Bacon Play Now? Looking at His Basketball Career

Dwayne Bacon, a 6-foot-7 guard-forward from Lakeland, Florida, has built a pro career that has taken him from the NBA to Europe and Asia.

Selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the No. 40 pick in the 2017 NBA draft, Bacon was traded to the Charlotte Hornets on draft night and signed shortly after. He spent four NBA seasons with the Hornets and Orlando Magic, averaging 7.3 points and 2.6 rebounds across 207 games.

A former Florida State standout, Bacon helped lead the Seminoles to two NCAA tournament appearances before entering the draft.

After his NBA tenure, he continued his career overseas with teams such as AS Monaco in France and Zenit Saint Petersburg in the VTB United League. Most recently, he has competed in the United Arab Emirates with BC Dubai, continuing to play as a scoring wing internationally.
