Mark Cuban reposted a video mocking former Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison after a clip of him allegedly waiting for a commercial flight went viral on social media.
Instagram account @mfpharaoh shared the clip showing Harrison waiting at an airport on social media and wrote:
“Trading Luka made you go from private jet to public airlines.”
Mavericks’ minority owner, Cuban, reposted the video from his Instagram account:

Nico Harrison faced widespread criticism after trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers last season. At the time, Harrison argued that acquiring Anthony Davis would help the Mavericks defensively, giving the team a win-now situation.
But Davis’ stint in Dallas was riddled with injuries as he played 29 games, averaging 20.2 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists. The team was eliminated from the play-in during Davis’ first season. He was traded to the Washington Wizards ahead of the Feb. 5 deadline.
The failure to get good value in a trade for the team’s biggest star, combined with Dallas’ poor form this season, culminated in the dismissal of Harrison in November. Fans have continued to troll the former GM since his departure.
Mark Cuban admits he made “a mistake” in making Nico Harrison the Mavericks GM
Harrison’s stint as the Mavericks’ GM is infamous, mainly due to the Luka Doncic trade. His decision to move the star guard has led many to regard his tenure as a failure. Cuban also referred to the hire as a mistake during an appearance on “The Adam Friedland Show.”
“In hindsight now, it was a mistake,” Cuban said.
Cuban continued, calling Doncic’s trade the “worst” in NBA history.
“When he told me about it, I thought he was asking me as opposed to telling me,” Cuban said of Harrison. “He’s like, ‘no, it’s done.’ And I’m like, ‘what the f–k?'”
A year after the trade, the Lakers (47-26) have emerged as one of the title contenders, holding third place in the Western Conference behind Luka Doncic’s production. The Mavericks, meanwhile, have been eliminated from playoff contention and are 13th in the West with a 23-50 record.
