The LA Lakers are on a serious roll right now, haven’t dropped a game in nine games. In the middle of a six-game road trip, they’ve already taken the first four games. With a bit of downtime on Sunday, the team decided to relax together by heading out to a golf course.
This outing came right after their close win over the Orlando Magic. Before facing the Detroit Pistons next, the whole squad hit the greens to unwind. Regular golfers like Austin Reaves, LeBron James, and Bronny James were there, but what stood out was that nearly the entire roster joined in. Luka Doncic, Luke Kennard, and even members of JJ Redick’s coaching staff were part of the group.
Fans loved seeing the team bonding off the court and erupted with reactions on social media.
“luke kennard got his invite 😂,” @Philliph0ang said.
“This kind of chemistry matters more than people think 🔥,” @ProvenceStyleCo wrote.
“Team chemistry to keep building this avalanche of wins! 📈,” @LakerLegend95 wrote.
“Lakers building something special off the court. When your stars actually enjoy being around each other, that’s when championships happen. Golf trips aren’t distractions, they’re the foundation. This team feels different. Chemistry wins games,” @Dayo94253816 said.
“Team vibes are off the charts,” @jordanumbers said.
“They like each other, they bound outside of the court, that’s a championship team, I can’t believe this is my life💜💛,” @CarlDavid97 wrote.
The golf outing followed a nail-biting game against the Magic on Saturday. The Lakers were down 104-102 with just 2.6 seconds left. That’s when Luke Kennard stepped up and delivered, hitting the biggest shot of the night to seal a 105-104 win. The clutch three-pointer improved their record to 46-25 and kept their winning streak alive.

The LA Lakers had a rough night from three-point range. Before the final shot, they were just 7-31 from deep. Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic struggled in particular, combining to go 5-21.
Luke Kennard, though, had it going. He made 2 of his 3 attempts and looked confident throughout. So when he got the ball for the last shot, LeBron James fancied the Lakers’ chances of emerging victorious.
“When I turned and saw who had the ball, I pretty much knew it was cash,” LeBron told reporters in the postgame locker room interview.
