Luka Doncic is going through a difficult phase in his personal life following his split from his ex-fiancée, Anamaria Goltes. Along with the breakup, he has also been dealing with time away from his daughters, Gabriela and Olivia, whom he has not seen for more than three months.
Earlier this month, Goltes filed a petition seeking child support from Doncic for their two daughters, along with coverage of legal fees. In response, Doncic has now taken legal action of his own in an effort to maintain contact with his children.
“Luka Doncic has filed an injunction to see his two daughters after ex-fiancée Anamaria Goltes moved them to Slovenia,” a report read.
Since the separation, Doncic has made it clear that his daughters remain his top priority. He has repeatedly spoken about wanting what is best for them and how much they mean to him. When announcing the end of his engagement in a statement to ESPN, he shared:
“I love my daughters more than anything, and I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season, but that hasn’t been possible, so I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement,” Doncic said. “Everything I do is for my daughters’ happiness and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life I can.”
Goltes returned to Slovenia in May 2025, where she now lives with their two children. Meanwhile, Doncic continues to pursue legal avenues to stay involved in their lives. But the cross-country equation makes the custody battle even more complicated.
