The uproar over Kevin Durant’s alleged use of another burner account to diss NBA players continues to reverberate. The latest speculations occurred right before the All-Star Game on Sunday, when he reportedly took shots at former Houston Rockets teammates Jabari Smith and Alperen Sengun.
Over the past two days, internet sleuths have compiled the “KD Files,” a list of alleged tweets from the former MVP. On Tuesday, the Durant burner hoopla leveled up.
A fan tweeted:
“NBA fans, with all the KD burner drama, someone went through everything, organized every confirmed mention, and built a live tracker.”
The files include:
“An in-depth breakdown of every KD burner tweet we know of. Every name mentioned, every full quote, full context, all in one place.”
Additionally, the Kevin Durant burner collection can be searched via filters, allowing users to locate “any athlete, influencer or celebrity.” The site also offers context and updates if a new social media post from KD pops up.
By typing “Steph” in the query bar, fans who want to visit the site can see two mentions of Steph Curry, Durant’s former Golden State Warriors teammate. The first file shows:
“I started holding steph accountable in film and Ni**as looked at me like this.”
The second one involved Russell Westbrook, Durant’s former longtime OKC Thunder teammate:
“I wouldn’t say kai (Irving) was competing wit me but that lightskin (Steph) and that triple double cocaine bear (Russell Westbrook) was.”

“Getoffmydickerson,” which uses the “@gethigher77” handle on X, has been private hours after the Kevin Durant burner drama exploded. However, the account wasn’t quick enough to lock it before internet detectives were able to compile KD’s alleged tweets.
Although no tweet has been verified to come from KD, most fans have already concluded that they are from him.
NBA Insider Says There Is “Smoke With the Fire” in Kevin Durant Files
NBA insiders Bill Simmons and Zach Lowe discussed the latest controversial Kevin Durant burner account. In his podcast, Simmons said:
“It’s an account, and it’s allegedly him. A lot of signs that it’s him. … I assume there’s probably some smoke with the fire on this one. If this is true… A social media scandal of revealed tweets/text of somebody disparaging people on his team that he then has to go play with.”
People seeing Durant on his phone multiple times on Sunday only fueled more speculations. He has not commented on those allegations.
