Down 13 points in the fourth quarter? No problem. Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors staged a dramatic comeback on Wednesday, shocking the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome with a flurry of late heroics to steal the win.
You could almost feel it coming. The Warriors were on the verge of slipping out of postseason contention, trailing 98-85 late in the final period. If the seven-time NBA champions were going to pull off a win, something had to happen soon.
And it did, as it has so many times before. The Warriors went on a 16-6 run in the fourth quarter to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, dropping the Clippers 126-121 in LA.
As special as the moment was for Warriors fans in the stands, Steph Curry’s sister, Sydel Curry, was equally stoked about the result, especially with the win coming in the Clippers’ arena, their first there since Nov. 28, 2021.
Curry’s sister is a keen user of Instagram, regularly sharing updates from her day-to-day life. She also reflected on how ‘being away from attending games has really ignited something’ in her while watching her brother and the Warriors pull off a miracle performance in the nervy Intuit Dome atmosphere.
“I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t been to as many games as I normally go to, like NBA games as I normally go to this season. It’s been a significant amount less. But the way I was so teed up tonight at that game, I was up at every point, pretty much showing my own, maybe even doing a little bit too much, but this game, this sport is so fun. The play-in is so fun. I don’t care what anyone says. Some of the best basketball of the whole season is happening right now. And then, being able to cheer on your family and watch them do incredible things is so much fun. And I will never take it for granted… What we’re experiencing is not normal, and we probably won’t ever see it again.”
“I truly didn’t know how bad I wanted the Warriors to win until I walked into that arena. Not that I have anything to do with the outcome. Truly have nothing to do with the outcome of the game, but just know that I was up at every three-point made, every and one made, every missed call, missed foul call. All of it. I was teed up y’all.”

While she got to relish the opportunity to watch Steph Curry once again, she has yet to witness both brothers share the floor together in person. Sydel also posted a chanting video from the stands, saying, “We want Seth.”
Steph Curry finished with 35 points, including 27 in the second half. He went 12-of-23 from the field, 7-of-12 from the three-point line and 4-of-5 from the free-throw line.
