Chet Holmgren has been a key contributor for the reigning champions, averaging 17.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game, shooting 55.4%, including 35.2% from 3-point range.
His production saw him earn the first All-Star nod of his career in the 2025/26 season. Reflecting on his achievement, Holmgren expressed gratitude to his family and friends.
“It means a lot. I just have a lot of people that I gotta be thankful for. The help they’ve given me along the way. From family, friends, coaches, old teammates, and current teammates. The Thunder and the opportunity they give me and the position they put me in,” Holmgren said. “I’m just always forever thankful for that. I always say I never play for or chase things of that nature. That doesn’t mean that the gratitude for it and understanding of the gravity of it aren’t there. I’m extremely grateful.”
Holmgren and Co. will look to grab their ninth consecutive win when they face the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
