Dwyane Wade’s wife, Gabrielle Union, joked that she saved the NBA legend’s life while the couple enjoyed a romantic boat ride on their trip to Japan.
A video shared on X captures the scene. The clip shows the pair sharing a lighthearted moment before being warned about an upcoming bridge on their route.
Just as the bridge approached, Union ducked while also alerting Wade to the danger. After crossing the bridge, she joked that she had saved his life.
“I leaned right in time. Literally right in time,” Wade said.
“I saved your life, I saved your life,” Union said.
“Life has been saved out here,” he said.
Fans flooded the post’s comments section, noting how Union asked Wade to duck just in time, helping him avoid what could’ve been a dangerous collision with the bridge.
