    “Dirk Taught Him Well”: Cooper Flagg and Arianna Roberson Dating Rumors Spark Wild Fan Reactions as She Joins Mavs Star’s Family for Historic Milestone Event

    Dating rumors have emerged linking Cooper Flagg with Duke Blue Devils center Arianna Roberson after she was spotted accompanying his parents at Flagg’s Rookie of the Year press conference on April 29. 

    At one point in the press conference, Flagg was asked about his nickname “Cooper Swagg.” While he answered, the camera panned to his parents in the crowd. Fans were quick to notice that Flagg’s family was not sitting alone and was accompanied by Roberson.

    Fans reacted to Roberson’s presence at the press conference on social media. Here are the most noteworthy reactions:

    “Dirk taught him well,” one fan said

    “Dirk taught n**** well,” another fan said.

    “Following Dirk’s footsteps,” a fan wrote.

    “She’s the Duke center Arianna Roberson & the younger sister of Andre Roberson. There were speculations about them dating when they were spotted sitting next to each other at a Duke game months ago,” another fan said.

    “Dirk put him onto the method fairs,” one fan commented.

    Arianna Roberson made her debut with the Duke Blue Devils last season, appearing in 33 games and averaging 8.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game while coming off the bench.

    Roberson and Flagg have been seen together in public multiple times. Neither she nor Flagg has addressed speculation of them dating. 

    Cooper Flagg calls Kon Knueppel his best friend after winning Rookie of the Year 

    Flagg acknowledged Kon Knueppel as one of his best friends during his press conference on April 29, despite competing against him for the 2025-26 Rookie of the Year award.  

    “Me and Kon, we talked all year long,” Flagg said. “We never talked about the Rookie of the Year or what people were saying about it or anything like that. It was more just support for one another and staying in contact. He’s someone who will be one of my best friends for the rest of my life.”

    Flagg narrowly beat out Knueppel for ROTY, receiving 56 first-place votes to Knueppel’s 44. 

    Cooper Flagg played 70 games, averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, shooting 46.8%. Knueppel played 80 games, recording 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists, shooting 47.5%, including 42.5% from 3-point range.
