Brandon Ingram Credits Girlfriend GloRilla’s “Wort Ethic” After 2nd NBA All-Star Selection To Replace Steph Curry

The NBA announced on Tuesday that Toronto Raptors forward Brandon Ingram will replace Steph Curry in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday. The four-time MVP will not play in Los Angeles due to a knee injury. Ingram returns to the annual event for the second time in his career.

After Tuesday’s practice, Ingram responded when asked about his All-Star nod:

“I wanna shout-out my girl ‘cause she gonna be mad if I don’t. Shout-out to her. All the attitude that I bring her every single day, her work ethic pushes me to be better, too.”

TMZ reported in July 2025 that the “Yeah Glo!” hitmaker and Ingram were spotted in Cabo for the rapper’s 26th birthday. Three months later, the two made their relationship official when she attended the Toronto Raptors’ opening night game against the Hawks in Atlanta. The Grammy-nominated artist flaunted a No. 3 chain decked with diamonds to show who she was there for.

Over the past few months, GloRilla has been a frequent courtside presence when Brandon Ingram plays. He has not disappointed her or Raptors fans with his all-around work on both ends. Ingram is averaging 22.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. The lanky forward is hitting 47.2% of his shots, including 36.4% from deep.

When Steph Curry’s availability became doubtful due to a knee injury, Ingram’s name quickly emerged as a potential replacement. On Tuesday, the NBA announced Ingram’s spot on the All-Star Game roster. Ingram’s teammates include Jaylen Brown, Kawhi Leonard, LeBron James, Jalen Brunson, Norman Powell, Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell.

Brandon Ingram and Glorilla Will Appear During NBA All-Star Weekend Festivities

Early this month, the NBA announced the participants of the 2026 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The highly anticipated list of players included GloRilla, who will play under the guidance of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis’ brothers, Alex and Thanasis, and MLB superstar Mookie Betts are the assistant coaches.

Some of the rapper’s teammates include NFL star Amon-Ra St. Brown, soccer legend Cafu and NBA insider Shams Charania. This early, Team Giannis is favored to win the contest due to the presence of former NBA players Jeremy Lin and 7-foot-6 big man Tacko Fall.

Following the announcement of Steph Curry’s replacement, GloRilla will have her boyfriend, Brandon Ingram, join the All-Star Game weekend festivities.
