Three-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart’s love of cars isn’t limited to the track; he also has an exquisite garage. “Smoke” recently revealed the one car that he wants to add to his collection, and it isn’t what you’d expect.
In a recent video uploaded by Stewart in collaboration with Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage, which sponsors Tony Stewart Racing Nitro, “Smoke” revealed that he wanted to own a Black Series Mercedes AMG GT.
“Hey I’m Tony Stewart with Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage and Jason’s got so many cool cars here. I mean, everything from American muscle to European cars. But my favourite car in this whole place that I will own one day, mark my words, I will own this chassis, this car, one day, is the Black series Mercedes GT.”
The car is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 that revs to 7200 rpm. The engine produces 720 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The Black Series features an aggressive aerodynamics package with liberal use of carbon fiber across the body panels. The car was priced at $325,000 during its production (which was stopped in 2021), according to Mercedez-Benz USA, but today it could exceed $400,000 with options.
Tony Stewart’s wife Leah Pruett was also featured in the video and suggested that her favorite car in Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage was the Maserati MC20.
“There is a lot of eye candy here but my current crush here is this teal Maserati. It looks good,” said Leah Pruett.
Tony Stewart “frustrated” by Kyle Busch tributes

Kyle Busch passed away on May 21, 2026, after suffering from pneumonia, which progressed into sepsis and led to complications. Tony Stewart detailed his frustration with the public tributes for Busch.
“now everybody wants to talk about how he was as a person. Outside of that, all they wanted to do is judge what they saw on TV. So, it’s frustrating. That’s the way everyone of us are judged by what they see on TV. Then once you die, then they want to talk about how good a person you were,” Stewart told NHRA content creator Mighty Mack.
“Should’ve given him a chance to learn him as a person before they judged him in the first place. So, right now, I don’t care about educating everybody about how Kyle Busch was. I know who Kyle Busch was,” he added.
Busch and Stewart had a fierce rivalry on track and were teammates for a year at Joe Gibbs Racing, but they shared a respectful relationship.
