College coaches are some of the best personalities in sports. Figures like Nick Saban, Tom Izzo, and Geno Auriemma constantly are giving the internet content with their outlandish quotes and hilarious mannerisms.
However, no one knows a head coach quite like their players and Duke Blue Devils guard Kon Knueppel is demonstrating that with his hilarious impression of head coach Jon Scheyer.

Kon Knueppel was asked by his teammate to do his impression of Jon Scheyer on camera, and Knueppel delivered with a hilarious imitation of his head coach.

The best part of the video is that his teammates clearly know he’s good at it, which probably means Knueppel does it a lot in the locker room. While we didn’t get Sheyer’s reaction to it, you can’t imagine he’d be pleased.
The good news for Knueppel is that his head coach can’t be too mad about the impression, as the young guard has been instrumental in the Blue Devils’ success this season.
Knueppel is the “other freshman” at Duke who is often overshadowed by the media attention that fellow Duke freshman Cooper Flagg garners. However, Knueppel has been a major piece for Duke all season.
Knueppel stands at 6’7″ and is a two-way beast. He has great movement skills and guard-like vision and handles. He shoots the ball at a very high level, shooting 47.6% from the floor and 39% from three this season.
Defensively, Knueppel uses that 6’7″ guard size to rack up four rebounds per game, and his quick hands have him averaging one steal per game.

The Wisconsin native scored 12 points in Duke’s round of 32 victory over Duke, shooting 80% from the floor, and now looks to continue that efficiency in the Blue Devils Sweet 16 matchup against Caleb Love and Arizona.
As good as Knueppel has been for Duke, the Scheyer impression might be the highlight of his season.
