Cameron Boozer’s girlfriend, Yva Lauren Cao, is currently on a road trip to Italy’s Mediterranean island, Capri. Her latest Instagram story shows her posing against the ocean, while admiring the ocean around the island.

Capri is an idyllic Italian island that has become an incredibly popular tourist destination, located a few miles off the coast of the peninsula halfway between the Amalfi Coast and the Bay of Naples. Cameron Boozer is not with her on the trip, it seems, as he continues to prepare for the NBA Draft, which is set for next month.
Yva Lauren Cao is an award-winning cheerleader who attends the University of Miami. She has been dating the Duke star player since 2023. Cameron Boozer met at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida, where they both attended and became high school sweethearts.
Carlos Boozer’s advice to his son, Duke’s Cameron Boozer, on the NBA Draft process
Cameron Boozer’s father, Carlos Boozer, is a former two-time NBA All-Star and second-round NBA Draft. Stands to reason that he would have a lot of wisdom to pass to his son on the process he’s about to go through with his own NBA Draft.
In an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show this Monday, Carlos Boozer shared his advice for Cameron Boozer about the NBA Draft:
“I told him to just enjoy it,” Carlos said Monday on the “Dan Patrick Show” of his advice to Cameron. “Enjoy the process. Enjoy all of the interviews. Be where your feet are and just take it in because this is a special moment, something he has been dreaming about, working for his entire life. He is five weeks away from realizing one of his dreams. I’m super, super excited for him.”
Boozer is expected to be a top-five pick in the NBA Draft, with most experts expecting him to be the third or fourth pick of the event. That would mean that Cameron Boozer would end with either the Memphis Grizzlies or the Chicago Bulls.
The Duke man is coming from a Consensus First Team All-American, in which he won the National College Player of the Year, Pete Newell Big Man, Karl Malone, Lute Olson, ACC Player of the Year, and ACC Rookie of the Year awards, among other major accolades. In his sole season at Durnhan, he averaged 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
