With the NBA Draft drawing ever closer, Duke power forward Cameron Boozer is readying himself for a possible Top 3 pick, and there is even a chance teams might take him No. 1 over AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson.
However, he still has some time to rest and relax, spending some quality time with his girlfriend, Miami Hurricanes cheerleader Yva Lauren Cao. The couple was out with friends, with Cao showing off a fun photobooth moment.

It seems that the couple has been spending as much time together ahead of the draft, as Cameron Boozer is expected to have a much busier schedule as he participates in various activities, such as rookie summer camp, meeting the press, and more.
The two are high school sweethearts, even though they went to different schools in their senior year. Boozer was with Columbus and helped the Explorers win their first national title in high school basketball. Meanwhile, Cao made waves as an award-winning high school cheerleader, later taking her talents to Miami while her boyfriend went to Durham to play for the Blue Devils.
The two have continued dating even though they went to different schools. Still, Cao was a constant presence whenever the Blue Devils played, often wearing an outfit inspired by Cameron Boozer himself. She was there when Duke won their conference title and when they made March Madness.
Bill Simmons Believes Cameron Boozer Will Go No. 2 With The Utah Jazz
The question right now is whether or not Cameron Boozer will be the No. 1 pick. It is more than likely that the Washington Wizards will take AJ Dybantsa at No. 1, but will his dad, Carlos Boozer’s, old team, the Utah Jazz, pick him over Darryn Peterson? Podcaster Bill Simmons thinks so.
“I would bet anything AJ (Dybantsa) is the first pick… and I think Boozer goes two,” he said. “I think Danny (Ainge) is such a wildcard at second. He did it with (Jayson) Tatum, he did it with (Jaylen) Brown, he did it when he was going to take Durant, he over and over again looks at the high end talent guys and is able to project them. You would think it’s going to happen with Peterson, but I think there’s too many red flags. I think he’s going to stay away from Peterson.”
Darryn Peterson had a bit of a controversy during his only season at Kansas, with reports that he did not really gel well with his teammates and him refusing to play, just doing the bare minimum for the Jayhawks, which actually did better without him, becoming more efficient when he was out with an injury.
