LeBron James Celebrates Son Bryce’s Birthday With Heartwarming Message

LeBron James is known to be a loving father, and as his youngest son, Arizona redshirt freshman Bryce James, celebrates his birthday, he gave him a special Instagram Story message from a boat on Sunday … while Bryce played golf.

“Happy birthday Maximus! The World is your Oyster. Love you son!” he said.

Bryce James did not get any playing time with the Arizona Wildcats last season, as he was overshadowed by fellow Class of 2025 freshman teammates, including NBA-bound Koa Peat. This led Wildcats coach Tommy Lloyd to redshirt Bryce and continue his development from the background. The decision was given the full blessing of LeBron James.

“Bryce has made huge progress,” Lloyd said IN February, “The redshirting decision was just a long play to give Bryce the most options as his career unfolds. I have real strong belief that Bryce is going to be a contributor at Arizona in the near future.”

Arizona was one of the four No. 1 seeds during March Madness last season and went all the way to the Final Four, so Bryce was not needed. He was a three-star recruit and joined the team with not much expectation to play, but that did not mean that Lloyd did not stop developing him.

Bryce James Expected To Travel With Arizona Teammates To Lithuania

After Bryce James is done celebrating his birthday with his dad, he will be getting his first taste of international basketball in Europe as the Arizona Wildcats will play in Lithuania. The country is known to be basketball-crazy, so he might feel right at home there.

The Wildcats will be playing in a series of exhibition games, and Lithuanian Basketball Association president Mindaugas Balciunas confirmed that the youngest James son will be there.

“University representatives are here right now, taking a detailed look at hotels and practice facilities. They say the teams will arrive with their strongest rosters. Including LeBron’s son – that was confirmed yesterday,” he said.

Balciunas also confirmed that the team did not have any special requests for Bryce James and did not confirm if his father, LeBron, would be going with the team to cheer his son on. The Lithuanian excursion will happen over the summer when no NBA games are being played.
