Former BYU star AJ Dybantsa, who just made his dreams come true by being the no. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft, had intricate yet thoughtful details in his outfit for the special event.
Dybantsa wore a black suit with a floral embroidery around the shoulders, sleeves, and the bottom of the blazer; the suit was paired with a white shirt.
However, what made the outfit special was the Terrence Clarke pin he wore in honor of a Boston basketball player who died before he could be selected in a draft.
Sharing more details on his outfit, Dybantsa told the reporter on the red carpet:
“Yeah, I went to Paris to go grab this. It’s Kenzo. He’s got me boots on feet. And I went rainbow face on the watch, and I went Zofras on the wrist. I wanted to represent my countries, and I wanted to represent TC5. Obviously, he couldn’t get drafted, and I’m from the same city he’s from, so I just wanted to show love.”
