    College Basketball Transfer Portal News Today (March 27): Full List of Latest Entries and Exits

    The transfer portal for college basketball is not open yet, but so far, several players have announced their entry or are expected to enter once it opens. This is expected to happen on April 7 and will close on April 21, so teams have at least two weeks to pick up as many players as they can while also competing with other teams.

    Here are the ones who have announced their entry so far:

    Players Who Have Announced Entry Into Transfer Portal on March 27, 2026

    • Dezdrick Lindsay: Jr small forward, Oregon
    • Jalen Reed: Sr power forward, LSU
    • Zack Davidson: So power forward, Northern Arizona
    • Jason Schofield: So power forward, Marist
    • PF JaJuan Nicholls: Jr power forward, Tennessee Tech
    • Jackson Holcombe: RS-So small forward, Utah Valley
    • Darrell Yepdo: Sr point guard, Massachussets Lowell
    • Ron Zipper: Fr shooting guard, LSU

    The biggest transfers of the day as rated by On3 are LSU’s Jalen Reed, Virginia Wise’s Evan Ramsey, UC Santa Barbara’s Zion Sensley, and Virginia Tech’s Neoklis Avdalas. So far, only Ramsey has found a new home as he has already committed to Wofford. Many have yet to officially announce their entry into the transfer portal but are still expected to enter.

    For now, some teams are still focusing on March Madness, so many players are not declaring for the transfer portal just yet. Many of them are expected to announce their entry by the conclusion of the tournament, once a new national champion has been crowned, as most of those who have declared are mostly from teams who did not qualify or are already eliminated.
