    Lou Groza Award Watch List: Graham Nicholson, Jonah Dalmas Kickstart the Season As Ones To Watch

    With the 2024 college football campaign on our doorstep, another season is already upon us. It’s one that sets the table for the feast we’re about to consume, preparing us for the top players we will witness in action these coming fall Saturdays. That’s right, it’s award watch list season, and on Friday this week the Lou Groza Award watch list was released.

    Which Players Are on the 2024 Lou Groza Award Watch List?

    The Lou Groza Award has been honoring the top placekicker in college football since 1992. Named after the greatest kicker in the sport, it is presented by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. Recent winners include Graham Nicholson, Christopher Dunn, and Jake Moody, but which players headline the kickers earmarked for appreciation this fall?

    Headlined by last year’s recipient Nicholson (now at Alabama), 30 kickers have received preseason recognition with a spot on the Lou Groza watch list. While there is a heavy Power Four presence, several Group of Five teams place a kicker on the full list, which can be found below:
