Is Landon Dickerson Hurt? Eagles Star OL’s Injury Status vs Denver Explored

Landon Dickerson is a key staple of the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line unit.

Dickerson was a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and has made consecutive Pro Bowl selections in the last three seasons. At 6’6″ tall and weighing 332 pounds, Dickerson is an extremely crucial player in the Eagles’ protection of quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley.

However, the Eagles took a hit in the first half of Sunday’s game, as Dickerson left with an ankle injury against the Denver Broncos. Dickerson was helped off the field after being rolled upon.

The Eagles provided an update regarding Dickerson, revealing that he will be questionable to return for Sunday’s game.

Backup guard Brett Toth is filling in for the injured Dickerson. For the Eagles’ sake, hopefully, Landon Dickerson’s injury isn’t serious, as they’re still trying to establish their identity on offense amid struggles.

About an hour after being ruled questionable to return, Dickerson was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

What Would A Win vs. The Denver Broncos Do For The Philadelphia Eagles?

The Philadelphia Eagles held a 10-3 halftime lead over the Denver Broncos. To begin the second half, the Eagles added to their lead, as Jalen Hurts found running back Saquon Barkley for a 47-yard touchdown pass through the air. At the time of writing, they lead the Broncos 17-3, with a little over 10 minutes left in the third quarter.

With the Eagles currently having a 4-0 record, they would remain in first place in the NFC East regardless of today’s result, as the Washington Commanders are in second place with a 2-2 record.

Still, a win is crucial for the Eagles, who will look to hold the divisional lead and remain in contention to stay atop the division.
