‘No Coach Will Better Prepare You’ — Kirby Smart, Georgia Drop Epic NFL Success Story

The Georgia Bulldogs have been one of the best teams in America since Kirby Smart took over as head coach back in 2016, and they did not miss the opportunity to show off how some of their former championship players became Super Bowl winners in the NFL.

Turning CFP National Champs Into Super Bowl Champs

In his nine seasons as head coach at Georgia, Smart has built great teams filled with future NFL stars.

The two-time national champion head coach has helped mold his young players into legends of both the college and professional game, which is why the Georgia football social media team decided to let everyone know about it.

In a recent video posted earlier this week, the account highlighted former players like Jalen Carter, Jordan Davis, and Nolan Smith Jr. winning championships in both college for the Bulldogs and the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles, who just won the Super Bowl this past Sunday.

The caption of the video reads “success at every level,” which is very fitting. Much like his former mentor, Nick Saban, Smart has been able to help players go from young and inexperienced to NFL-ready, championship-caliber stars.

Former Bulldogs Who Now Have Super Bowl Rings

One of the many reasons why Georgia was able to win back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022 was because they had so many great players.

A lot of standouts from those teams are now shining at the NFL level. The aforementioned Carter, Davis, and Smith are all now Super Bowl champions.

However, they aren’t the only former Smart players to win a Super Bowl. Linebacker Nakobe Dean, cornerback Kelee Ringo, and safety Lewis Cine each have a ring at the professional level, too, thanks to their roles with the Eagles.

Seeing these players win both national and Super Bowl titles is a great recruitment tool for Smart and Co. as they look to continue to build strong teams. After falling short in the College Football Playoff last season, this Georgia program will look to get back on track in 2025.
