Jordan Seaton is back under the scanner as his move to LSU is now being scrutinized for all the wrong reasons.
The offensive tackle announced his commitment to the Tigers in January, but it came on the back of an injury-hit in his last few months with the Colorado Buffaloes.
Now, however, question marks over his behavior in the last few games are being raised by former Buffs who seem to doubt his commitment to Coach Deion Sanders.
“I think he made a decision consciously to shut it down”, Colorado alum Matt McChesney said.
“Sometimes guys roll their eyes at like really good players that are trying to coach, cause they just ‘you know like oh you never made a mistake’, stuff like that. And when you’re doing it in college, that’s bad,” he continued.
McChesney’s comments come after former Colorado coach and Sanders loyalist, Warren Sapp made the accusation against Jordan Seaton:
“(Coach) Prime is such a father figure ‘I’m on you, the grades, the classes, the study hall hours, the film work every week’, it will be done. And when you get on people that don’t wanna do it, they got something to say on the back end.”
Jordan Seaton Took a Sly Dig at Colorado After Leaving
Seaton certainly wasn’t shy when it came to talking about leaving Colorado after he announced his switch to Baton Rouge:
“When I left Colorado, I felt like I was at a good point, but coming here, the transition from how I eat to how we work out here is just kind of different. … My decision to come here was based off, it just means more,” Seaton mentioned.
“Being here is really just different from how we train to how we work…We’re big on extra around here. Just doing what’s required is not enough.”
Seaton definitely has to put his money where his mouth is as Lane Kiffin won’t accept any half measures as he attempts to get the Tigers back to the top of the College Football ladder.
