One of the most interesting college football players and NFL Draft cases in recent memory was Johnny Manziel.
In an episode of “Next Up with Adam Breneman,” the former Heisman winner chatted about his 2014 pre-draft process.

Johnny Manziel on Pre-Draft Interview With Bill O’Brien
Manziel broke down a hilarious moment he had with then-Houston Texans head coach Bill O’Brien in a pre-draft interview.
“I don’t think I knew (football) at all…(Bill O’Brien) looked at me, and he’s like, ‘Are you f***ing kidding me?”
The NFL Draft process is incredibly challenging — especially for a QB. Your football IQ gets tested like never before.

In the pre-draft meetings for all NFL prospects, players will get asked about coverages, alignments, and other key things to look out for at the professional level.
Manziel’s meeting with O’Brien clearly did not go well, which is why Houston did not draft him. The Cleveland Browns drafted him with pick No. 22 overall in the first round. However, he had a tough career in the NFL.
He went just 2-6 as an NFL starter in two seasons, throwing seven career touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Eventually, the Tyler, Texas native went on to play in the Canadian Football League, the Alliance of American Football, and the Fan Controlled League. While he had a disappointing run at the professional level, he still made a lot of football fans happy with the magic he made on the field.
Manziel’s Legendary College Career
Of course, the former Texas A&M star was a first-round pick because of his storied career in College Station. In his time starting under center for the Aggies, he was at the center of the college football world.
He threw for over 3,700 yards and 26 touchdowns while rushing for over 1,400 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2012, which led to him becoming the Heisman winner. The following season, he threw for over 4,000 yards and definitely kept Texas A&M on the map.
