The Michigan Wolverines fired Sherrone Moore from the head coach position after he was alleged to be in a relationship with executive assistant Paige Shiver, which was a violation of rules in the program. Moore even broke into her apartment and threatened to harm himself, after which he was tracked down and taken into custody.
A new update has come to light regarding Moore’s former mistress.
Is Sherrone Moore’s Ex-Mistress Still at Michigan?
Paige Shiver is no longer associated with the University of Michigan. She has left her position as executive assistant four months after the scandal first came to light.
According to TMZ Sports, Shiver’s contract with the school had expired. Before her affair with Sherrone Moore was discovered, Shiver was doing good for herself, witnessing a salary spike from $58,025 in 2024 to $90,000 within the last year.
What Led To Sherrone Moore’s Firing?
Michigan announced Sherrone Moore as the head coach of the program in 2024. While he was associated with the sign-stealing controversy, he was fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a Michigan staffer. The school discovered this after Paige Shiver came forward and shared evidence of her two-year relationship with Moore.
The University of Michigan took action on it and fired Moore. After the firing, the Wolverines head coach invaded Shiver’s home and threatened to self-harm himself. Before the authorities arrived, he had already fled, but later they found him.
“I am going to kill myself. I’m going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life,” Moore allegedly told Shiver, per prosecutors.
Shiver’s attorney, Heidi Sharp, called out Moore’s alleged history of “domestic violence.” While all this was happening, Moore’s wife, Kelli, was frightened, leading to a 911 call to find her husband.
“I’m worried that my husband is going to hurt himself. Can you guys track his phone?” Kelli said via TMZ.
Moore shares three kids with Kelli, who called the police because the fired head coach said “he was going to kill himself.”
“I just need to make sure he’s safe,” the wife added. “He’s called a couple times, and I’m terrified that he’s gonna do something to himself. I told him to come home… He’s very upset. Not at me.”
Moore is currently facing charges of felony home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering. He will appear in front of the judge on Friday.
