They should be the favorite against the Rice Owls in Week 3, but the Cougars could enter Big 12 play with a losing record. The conference operates a nine-game format, with teams alternating between four and five road games each season. The Houston 2024 football schedule will feature five Big 12 games away from TDECU Stadium, with several difficult matchups included.
