Before Rory McIlroy defends his Masters title at Augusta, the Northern Irishman will be tasked with putting out a delicious menu for the Masters Champions dinner. While many fans around the world are excited to see the dishes that will be present in McIlroy’s menu, the gearing question is, when will McIlroy reveal the menu?

Fortunately, for golf fans around the world, we have an answer to this question. McIlroy will be revealing his Masters Champions Dinner menu on Wednesday morning. The same was confirmed by McIlroy himself when he played for Boston Common GC in the semifinals of TGL.

On X, Adam Stanley confirmed the update and wrote:

Rory McIlroy confirmed at TGL tonight his Masters Champions Dinner menu will be revealed Wednesday morning (he is doing a pre-tournament media avail at 11am ET)”

You can check Stanley’s tweet below:

For those unaware, The Masters Champions dinner was started in 1952, when 1951’s winner Ben Hogan suggested the idea so that previous winners of the tournament could come together. Since then, the tradition has continued, but there’s no confirmation on how the tradition of the defending champion choosing the menu began.

Rory McIlroy won’t be playing a tournament before The Masters at Augusta

While Rory McIlroy finished T46 at The Players Championship last week, there were serious doubts about his participation in the tournament. A week before The Players, McIlroy had injured his back at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and this injury forced him to withdraw from the tournament.

However, McIlroy recovered in time for The Players, and played four full rounds of golf against some of the best in the world. But despite a decent showing at TPC Sawgrass, McIlroy confirmed to reporters at TGL that his next even in golf would be The Masters at Augusta, which begins on April 9th.

Prior to this confirmation, Rory McIlroy had also expressed uncertainty about playing a tournament before The Masters when speaking to the media after his Players campaign concluded. McIlroy at the time said:

“I’ll see. I haven’t really made a decision either way. I’ll see how my body feels. We’ll see how I feel in practice and at home, and if I get itchy feet at home maybe add an event at some point.”

At The Masters 2026, Rory McIlroy will have the opportunity to win back-to-back Masters titles. However, the path to victory won’t be easy as McIlroy will have to face the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and many more.
