    Round 1 of the Arnold Palmer Invitational 2026 concluded on Thursday with Daniel Berger in the solo lead at Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando. The 32-year-old climbed atop the Signature Event’s leaderboard firing a bogey-free 9-under 63. He finished the day with a three-shot lead and a score nearly nine shots better than the average of the 72-man field.

    Round 2 of the competition will tee off on Friday at 7:40 am ET with the pairing of Nicolai Højgaard and Austin Smotherman taking the first tee at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge course. Notably, the pairing of Si Woo Kim and Bud Cauley will follow suit at 7:50 am. The duo of Lucas Glover and Ryo Hisatsune will be the third to tee it up at 8:00 am.

    Day 1 leader Berger will resume his campaign from the first tee at 11:55 am ET alongside Swede Alex Noren, who sat T33 on Thursday. The duo will follow the pairing of Taylor Moore and Andrew Putnam, who starts at 11:45 am and will be trailed by Min Woo Lee and Michael Thorbjornsen, starting at 12:05 pm.

    Meanwhile, Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) No.1 and event favorite Scottie Scheffler will have a late tee off at 1:30 pm alongside Russell Henley. The four-time major champion will be eyeing a comeback on Day 2 after settling for a T18 on Thursday. The duo will follow the pairing of Xander Schauffele and Shane Lowry starting at 1:20 pm. The grouping of J.T. Poston and Keith Mitchell will take the final tee off the day at 1:50 pm.
