Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover car crash in Florida on March 27. The golfer admitted using his phone as his Range Rover clipped the back of a truck and rolled onto its side. He was later charged with driving under the influence (DUI). Days after the incident, Police have released body camera footage of the arrest.

In the video released, the 50-year-old golfer is seen co-operating with authorities and sitting in the back of the police car. Interestingly, a first responder’s bodycam footage also shows them smashing the player’s crashed car’s rear window. It was done to retrieve the 15-time major winner’s golf clubs after the latter requested the same.

Watch the first responder’s bodycam footage video here:

The ace golfer, who is charged with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test, and his right hand man Rob McNamara is seen telling police to remove his famous Scotty Cameron putter from the vehicle before taking him in. The Florida native humbly brags about winning 14 majors with the equipment. He reiterates needing “just the sticks” from his car.

It is noteworthy that the video also catches Woods admitting his ‘hope to’ play in the 2026 Masters. The golfer has since released a statement announcing his decision to step away from the sport and thus, confirming his exit from the major championship starting on April 9.

What is in Tiger Woods’ bag?

Tiger Woods requested the first responders at the site of his car crash to remove his Scotty Cameron GSS Newport 2 putter from the back of his Range Rover. The golfer highlighted winning 14 of his 15 majors with the flat stick. For the unversed, the iconic putter in question is arguably the world’s most famous putter while being old. The PGA Tour legend has his version fitted with a blacked-out Ping PP58 grip.

Woods reportedly still uses his TaylorMade Qi10 LS driver. The ace golfer uses a 10.5˚ head in the draw setting – to prevent too much curvature in the air as he is predominantly a fader of the ball from the tee in recent years. Tiger’s version of the equipment has a Graphite Design Tour AD VF 6 X fitted for very stable tip section.

For Fairway Woods, Tiger used a TaylorMade Qi10 Tour 3-wood at the 2024 PNC Championship. This was a change from his earlier loyal TaylorMade SIM fairway. Fitted with a Graphite Design Tour AD VF 7 X shaft, the Qi10 Tour with massive sliding weight on the sole is an elite pick for the player.

The 82-time PGA Tour winner uses TaylorMade P7TW irons since 2019. According to TaylorMade, the stick has been “meticulously shaped to meet Tiger’s discerning eye – longer blade length, thinner topline, progressive face height, and more.” He completes his set with two TaylorMade MG4 models wedges. He compliments them with True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 shafts.
