“Is love in the air?”

In response to this teasing, Vanessa Trump made a sarcastic statement to Kai, alleging that she was not born yesterday. She said,

“Nice trick question, Kai. I wasn’t born yesterday.”

He had a ruptured Achilles tendon in March 2025, necessitating emergency surgery that kept him out of the game for several months. Unfortunately, in October 2025, Woods then underwent a back surgery for disc replacement, which has kept him out of the game until now.

The renowned golfer discussed his recovery timeline during a press conference at the 2026 Genesis Invitational, the PGA Tour’s second signature tournament this season. He mentioned that he still has back difficulties and is experiencing soreness in his ruptured Achillies Tendon. Because of all of this, his return is uncertain, although he has stated that the 2026 Masters is not out of the question for him.
