The team is currently trailing with a 1-0 score against the Los Angeles Golf Club, making the second match of this season’s TGL final more intriguing than ever. On one hand, the Los Angeles GC will be aiming to secure the championship, while on the other hand, the Jupiter Links will be looking to make a comeback and potentially get a Match 3.

Match 2 is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, and if Jupiter Links wins this round, Match 3 will follow on the same day at 9 p.m. ET. Tiger Woods hasn’t played competitive golf since July 2024, but he’s been hinting about a return for a while. Interestingly, the golfer has decided to make this comeback at the most critical time, as Woods revealed on Monday, March 23, that he will be part of the playing lineup for TGL Finals Match 2. The 82-time PGA Tour champion will replace Kevin Kiser and team up with Tom Kim and Max Homa.

Following the loss, Tiger Woods was hopeful during the post-match press conference, claiming that the team was still in the game and was very close. According to Asap Sports, Woods said,

“I feel bad for them. As a team, we were together in this, all of us together, and it was close. We had our opportunities; they had their opportunities. We could have flipped in the middle of that back nine, and it came down to the last hole. We’ve been there before. We were in a playoff once, and this was damn near there. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen, but we have possibly two more matches. We’re not out of this. Even with a loss, we’re still not out of it.”

Woods will make his formal season debut in the biggest match possible, and his opponent, the Los Angeles Golf Club, will remain unchanged and will be joined by Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, and Sahith Theegala.
