The DP World Tour’s first tournament of the season, the Dubai Invitational, hosted by the Dubai Creek Resort, came to an end on January 8. After four tough rounds of the game, Nacho Elvira won the event with a total score of 10 under par. While Elvira stood tall, there were numerous LIV golfers in the tournament that fans were keeping a watch on, but how did they finish the tournament?

Here’s a look at all the LIV golfers who took part in the 2026 Dubai Invitational.

    #1 Patrick Reed

Patrick Reed’s game at the Dubai Creek Resort was a full adrenaline rush. The 4 Aces GC member began the event with a superb round of 2 under par, but in the second round, he failed and went 3 over par. The weekend was critical for Reed, and he started well and went on to shoot 1 under par in Round 3, but then fell and scored 1 over par in the final round.

Reed finished his campaign with a total score of 1 over par, just missing the top 25 and ending in 26th place.

    #2 Tom McKibbin

Tom McKibbin did not have a particularly successful campaign in the 2026 Dubai Invitational. The golfer began his tournament poorly, shooting bogey and double bogey on his opening two holes. He finished the round with three bogeys, one double bogey, and two birdies for a total of 3 over par. Following this, McKibbin needed two rounds to get control of the course, shooting 2 over par in Round 2 and 1 over par in Round 3.

In the final round, the Legion XIII member recorded four birdies and three bogeys, finishing with a score of 1 under par, his only under par round in the event. McKibbin finished the tournament with a total score of 5 over par, tied for 38th place in the Dubai Invitational.

David Puig was the third and final LIV golfer to play in the 2026 Dubai Invitational. He was also the best performing LIV golfer in the competition, finishing in the top three with a total score of 8 under par. Puig had a superb first round, shooting 5 birdies and 1 bogey for a total of 4 under par.

Following this, Puig’s second round was rather rough in the second half. The golfer shot 6 birdies in the first half of the second round, but then shot 1 bogey and 2 double bogeys, finishing with a total of 1 over par. The Fireballs GC member struck a tremendous eagle in the third round and finished 1 under par after several ups and downs. Puig’s final round was likewise decent, with five birdies and one bogey for 4 under par.

Along with David Puig, three other golfers are tied for third place in the Dubai Invitational: Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy, and Julien Guerrier. All of them were only 2 shots off the eventual winner.
