Justin Thomas has recently returned to the game after undergoing back surgery in November 2025. He recently joined his TGL team and played a round with them to help them progress through the season. While Thomas has not yet returned to competitive golf, he plans to play a complete round on the golf course with his father for a pretty big noble cause that his friend is involved in.

The golfer talked about this on his X page that he will play golf at Panther National Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, to support one of his friends who is supporting the fight against ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). Thomas also stated that he will be playing the game alongside his father and that the two of them will also be eating lunch at the golf course. The X post reads,

“I’m excited to offer a round of golf and lunch with my dad and me at our home course, Panther National. It’s all to support my dear friend Peter Broome and the @ALSBridgeFdn in the fight against ALS. Bid at the link below to join us!”

It was recently revealed that Justin Thomas’ apparel contract with Greyson Clothiers has come to an end. The golfer joined the brand in 2022 and has since been not just one of their biggest faces but also a brand ambassador and Series A investor for them. Despite all of this, Thomas was recently seen in TGL without the brand and was also removed from their official website.

Thomas is also preparing to make his major return to the PGA Tour, and the golfer recently disclosed how his future in golf is going to be.

Following his comeback at TGL, Justin Thomas fielded numerous questions about his return. The golfer noted that his game has not changed significantly and that one of his key aims going forward is to avoid injuries. Thomas added that he feels excellent following the operation and believes he still has at least 12 to 14 years remaining to play the game. According to TOI, the golfer said,

“So it’s just strange. I just have to do the little things and stay on top of it. Playing injury-free is my main goal and always has been. It was unfortunate, but it is what it is. I’m just going to make the best of it and do the right thing. I still have another 12, 15 years of great golf ahead of me. There’s no reason to look backward, just look forward.”

The 32-year-old will make his PGA Tour comeback at the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational, one of the circuit’s greatest flagship events. The event begins on March 5 at the Bay Hill Golf Club.
