Justin Rose has almost captured his 13th PGA Tour win at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open. He has been unstoppable from the first round of this event, as he shot an astounding 10 under par in his opening round. Following that, on the second day, he shattered the Torrey Pines Golf Club’s 32-hole record with a total score of 17 under par. Even after three rounds, he had a total score of 21 under par and a 6-shot lead. Interestingly, this lead has already made Joeh Dahmen lose hope for the final round.

After three rounds, Dahmen is in second place on the leaderboard, with a total score of 15 under par. He holds a two-shot lead over the golfers tied for third place. Interestingly, after his third round, the golfer discussed Justin Rose and his fiery performance in this tournament. Dahmen added that Rose is invincible right now and understands every part of the game, including tee, putting, distance, and long. According to an X post by Brentley Romine, Dahmen said,

“No one’s beating him this week. … He’s striping it off the tee, long and far. And his irons, like the shot he hit today on 7, he’s in the first cut, he’s got to hit it over a tree to a back right pin that no one attacks, and he hit it to 4 feet. At that point, it’s Justin’s week.”

Justin Rose played a pretty mixed third round in this tournament, finishing at 4 under par. The golfer had a roller coaster round, starting with the front nine holes and making four birdies. Rose’s back nine was uneven, with three birdies and three bogeys. Interestingly, after this round of Rose, another 34-year-old golfer has claimed to crack his game on the course.

Justin Rose has had a lot of attention this week, and Smylie Kaufman was also one of the people who were noticing Rose’s game pretty closely. Kaufman talked about the golfer in an X post where he claimed how Rose has been unstoppable and how his golf swing is one of the reasons for his success. Kaufman claims to be practicing Rose’s swing at home and believes he has worked out the form the golfer is utilizing at the Farmers Insurance Open.

The X post by Smylie Kaufman read,

“I’m obsessed with the way Rosey is swinging the golf club. I’ve been walking around the house doing his pre-shot routine, thinking I have this game figured out.”

Justin Rose will begin his final round from tee number 1 on the South Course, alongside Joeh Dahmen and Ryo Hisatsune, at 12:37 PM local time.
