However, he competed at the Promotions event, which was held from January 8 to 11. He secured a spot in the top three after the final round and is now eligible to play in the Saudi league in 2026.

Anthony Kim Slams Haters After Securing His Spot in LIV Golf
Anthony Kim slammed the haters for the negative comments after he secured his spot in the LIV Golf 2026 season. In the post-round press conference on Sunday, he was asked about the highlight moment of his career. In response, he said:
“I wouldn’t say there’s any highlights yet. I’m working on those. But the world we live in, there’s so many negative people out there. Unfortunately I love hearing all the negativity. But I’m glad I get to throw this in their face.”
Anthony Kim was eligible to play in the second round of the LIV Golf Promotions event. He started the campaign with a round of 69 and then played a notable round of 66. He carded a round of 69 on Sunday to settle with a score of 5-under. Richard T. Lee took the lead in the event at 11-under, followed by Bjorn Hellgren, who settled in second place at 6-under.
In his last season, Kim started his campaign at the Riyadh event with a T49 finish. He struggled throughout the season and settled in 55th place in the season-ending standings and was relegated from the circuit. The new LIV Golf season is scheduled to start next month, and it will be interesting to see how things unfold for Anthony Kim.
