Bryson DeChambeau does not have much time to think about making a PGA Tour comeback. The golfer is eligible under the circuit’s new Returning Member Program, which is only open for a few more days. Brooks Koepka’s massive return to the tour is also under the same program, as it allows golfers who have won any major or the Presidents Cup after 2022 to return to the circuit after paying a fine.
DeChambeau, as the winner of the 2024 US Open, is also eligible for this return, and the Bryson Legion Golf page recently noted how the golfer only has 9 more days to decide whether or not to return to the PGA Tour. The X post reads,
“🚨💰9 days left for Bryson to decide if he is returning to the PGA Tour under the “Returning Player Program”! Do we think DeChambeau will get a LIV contract done before then?”
Under the comments of this post, fans had a pretty mixed opinion, as some of them claimed that Bryson DeChambeau will receive a contract extension and stay in LIV Golf regardless of the amount he demands. Some fans believe the golfer deserves all of this money because he is the face of LIV Golf and the pinnacle of the golf world. On the other hand, other supporters believe the golfer will definitely make the transition and play on the PGA Tour.
Talking more about these fans’ comments, here’s a look at a few of them:
“His contract extension to LIV will be announced at the exact perfect time.” One fan stated.
“I don’t think it matters a damn if his LIV contract extension isn’t sorted before the RPP deadline…” Another fan pointed out.
“He deserves it all ! ! He is the needle for golf.” One fan claimed.
“He aint going anywhere. Hes gonna get paid and be the face of the league for next decade. Also, while being the face of YouTube Golf,” one fan explained.
“He’s going to PGA Tour. Mark my words,” one fan shared a different opinion.
Despite the concerns over whether the golfer will recieve an extension or not, in a recent interview, Bryson DeChambeau stated that his deal with LIV Golf will not expire before the 2026 season.
Bryson DeChambeau is excited about the 2026 season in LIV Golf

Bryson DeChambeau recently spoke with Sky Sports about his option to join the PGA Tour. The golfer stated that he is under contract until the 2026 season is over and is looking forward to the next season. DeChambeau stated that he has not given the transition much thought and is looking forward to leading his squad into a new season.
According to Sky Sports, Bryson DeChambeau stated,
“I’m contracted through 2026, so excited about this year. I really don’t have any thoughts. I haven’t had a lot of time to think about it. But I know I’m here to stay. I’m here to support LIV. I’m a captain of a great team and a great group of people. I’m happy where I am. I’m proud of where I am. I think we do many great things, particularly in Australia, and I can’t wait for this league to keep growing.”
If Bryson DeChambeau does not make the transition, he will compete in the 2026 LIV Golf Riyadh, the circuit’s first tournament of the new season. It will take place at the Riyadh Golf Club and begin on January 29.
