“WE’RE BACK 🙌 Who’s pumped for the 2026 LIV Golf League season? 👀”
“Even Tiger & Rory can’t save LIV Golf! They’re done”
“When you definitely know you’ve lost, you start posting stuff like this”
“LIV branding is so good that I heard it referred to by like 6 different names in this video (they play 72 holes now btw)”
“Y’all want to be relevant so bad it’s embarrassing. Fact is you just lost 2 of your Top 5 players. Absolutely no ratings or hint of interest from golf or non-golf fans. Not close to ranking points or competitive competition. Jokes on you all like it has been since the start.”
“Lmao this is embarrassing. Possibly the most embarrassing thing since bubba was pretending to be a range goat. 😆😆”

Another LIV Golf promotion draws criticism from fans
This was not the first time a LIV Golf related post sparked strong reactions online.
Recently, golf fans were surprised after Fox Sports shared a promotional graphic for the 2026 LIV Golf season that was later taken down. The image was meant to promote the league’s return in Riyadh but quickly caught attention for several mistakes.
The biggest issue was the spelling of player names. Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson and Martin Kaymer all had their surnames written incorrectly, which shocked many fans considering all three are major winners.
The graphic was first pointed out by golf account Flushing It on X, which shared the post while highlighting the spelling issues. The account also noted that Lee Westwood was missing from the image, despite being a co-captain of Majesticks GC alongside Ian Poulter.

While Poulter appeared in the graphic, Westwood’s absence only added to the confusion among fans. Soon after the backlash began, Fox Sports removed the post.
The mistake was especially awkward given Fox Sports’ growing role in LIV Golf’s future. The network signed a multi-year broadcast deal with the league starting in 2025, covering events across its global schedule.
