Bryson DeChambeau is unquestionably one of LIV Golf’s most valuable assets, but there have recently been multiple rumors that the golfer may be looking to get out of the league soon. Following the jump of Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed, DeChambeau’s return to the PGA Tour rumors have more fire, and on top of this, recently, the golfer has expressed disappointment with LIV.
During an interview with LIV Golf media, the 32-year-old golfer highlighted his dissatisfaction with the changes that have occurred in the league. One of the most significant changes, he noted, was the 72-hole format that LIV would use from this season. The two-time golf major winner noted that 72 holes is something he did not sign a contract for, so while he appreciates the improvements as the circuit strives to be more competitive, he is still dissatisfied with them.
NUCLR Golf reported on Bryson DeChambeau’s statement on their X account with a post according to which the golfer said,
“I’ve got a contract for this year, and we’ll go through it there and see what happens after that. Look, it’s 72 holes, it’s changed, but we’re still excited to play professionally and play for what we’re doing and go across the world. I think it’s going to be great for our team. Is it what we ultimately signed up for? No. So I think we’re supposed to be different, so I’m a little indifferent to it right now”
Bryson DeChambeau’s contract with LIV Golf expires at the end of the 2026 season, and there are concerns that the golfer may look for a way out. For the time being, he is excited about the next season and hopes to perform well for his team.
Bryson DeChambeau anticipates a successful 2026 season for his team

The Crushers GC, led by Bryson DeChabeau, is one of the teams that has retained its core roster for the 2026 season. Aside from DeChambeau, big golfers like Paul Casey, Anirban Lahiri, and Charles Howell will be playing as the team member for the 2026 season. In a LIV interview, the captain praised this core, noting that it is the group that understands what is required to win.
According to the LIV Golf website, Captain Bryson DeChambeau stated,
“Keeping this core together for 2026 positions us to build on the momentum we carried out of 2025. This group knows what it takes to win; we lifted the trophy in 2023 and finished second last season, and that experience fuels our drive to compete at the top week in and week out. We’re a team of competitors, creators, and leaders who take pride in pushing the game forward, and having this group return gives us continuity, confidence, and a clear direction as we raise our standards heading into next season.”
DeChambeau’s Crushers GC had one of their most successful seasons in 2025, finishing second in the circuit’s season-long team standings. Last season, Crushers GC won three consecutive games in Korea, Virginia, and Dallas, finishing second only to Jon Rahm’s Legion XII.
