He played the opening round at La Quinta Country Club and then teed off at the Nicklaus Tournament Course, where he bounced back and carded a round of 9-under 63 on Friday. However, he again had a tough time on the greens and played a round of 1-over 73 on Saturday at the Pete Dye Stadium Course and missed the cut by three strokes. He settled with an overall score of 8-under.

    Brian Harman also had a tough time playing this week at The American Express 2026. He kick-started the outing with an opening round of 73 and then carded the next two rounds of 67 and 69. He settled with a score of 7-under and missed the cut by four strokes.

He started the campaign with a bogey on the first hole but then added two birdies on the next two holes. He made a total of four birdies, one triple bogey, one quadruple bogey, a double bogey, and a bogey for a round of 6-over 78 and missed the cut.
