Giants Fans Excited for New Combo of Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo

The Giants have undoubtedly landed top-tier talents in Dart and Skattebo. Fans were reportedly quick to throw a unique moniker to this selection, however, it appears real Giants’ fans were quicker to diminish that notion, pushing hype even higher.

Are they truly worth the growing hype?

Trading up to pick Dart at No. 25 in the first round cost the Giants huge draft capital, but the reward could be great. Dart’s strong arm, pinpoint accuracy, and anticipation make him a standout QB, capable of threading passes into tight windows and launching deep throws.

His athleticism sets him apart, making him a dual threat who can escape pressure and contribute to the ground game. At Ole Miss, Dart amassed nearly 1,500 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in three seasons.

If his skills translate to the NFL, Dart has the potential to justify the hype and elevate the Giants’ offense to a new level.

On the other hand, the Giants’ selection of Skattebo isn’t just about depth: It’s a statement.

After losing Saquon Barkley last offseason, the team is doubling on fresh, young talent to revamp their offense.

With Devin Singletary still in the mix and Tyrone Tracy Jr. showing promise in 2024, Skattebo adds a bruising, hard-nosed style that perfectly complements Tracy’s finesse and agility.

His ability to grind out tough yards and wear down defenses fills a gap the Giants struggled with in the 2024 season.
