According to the CFN Strength of Schedule, the Georgia State 2024 football schedule is one of the least difficult in the Sun Belt. Avoiding teams like the Troy Trojans and the South Alabama Jaguars certainly helps. At the same time, out-of-conference clashes with the UConn Huskies and Chattanooga Mocs should provide relatively easy wins away from Sun Belt action.
That said, Power Five dates with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Vanderbilt Commodores may not rate too highly compared to other potential AAC and SEC opponents. Still, they’ll be tough enough that the Panthers will be considered significant underdogs and given little chance to come away with victories. So, they could be 2-2 in out-of-conference matchups.

They welcome in-state rivals Georgia Southern to Atlanta, where they haven’t lost to the Eagles since 2018.
