Fans Suspect Jordon Hudson Scripted Belichick’s Email To Control Book Narrative

In the wake of an awkward interview of North Carolina head coach Belichick on 60 Minutes, a social media post containing a viral email showing the former NFL coach’s displeasure, released by his young girlfriend, Hudson, is causing fans to question if it was written by him at all.

    You be the judge.

In a post on Instagram, Hudson shared a screenshot of an email Belichick sent to the team at Simon & Schuster, with whom he’s worked on his memoirs. The email, dated April 10, shows that the former New England Patriots coach was reluctant to use the phrase “I f—ed up” in relation to admitting to mistakes, including an error in a Super Bowl.

As the email goes on, there is an air of irritation. “I am not going to be a conductor in the hype train in the book promotion – we have enough hype to work with,” Belichick concludes.

Hudson’s caption to the post simply read, “Full statement to be released today.”

Commenters in the captions were highly skeptical that Belichick wrote that email. “Do you ever stop embarrassing this guy? I feel bad for his family,” wrote commenter named dr_brackman.

Another user, bostoncremesgolden, asked: “Why didn’t Bill release this statement on his page? Make it a bit more official?”

The 24-year-old Hudson has made waves dating the 73-year-old legendary coach in the last few months.

In the 60 Minutes interview, journalist Tony Doukopil asked Belichick how they met, prompting Hudson (seated off-camera) to interject: “We’re not talking about this quickly.” Doukopil responded, “No?” Hudson said, “No.”

In a voiceover track, Doukopil would add, “Jordan was a constant presence during our interview.”
